Modernisation of Leitz Heating Microscopes

Existing heating microscopes from Leitz can be upgraded to the state of the art in a sustainable and affordable manner using current components from Hesse Instruments. The modular construction of our heating microscopes allows us to tailor the modernisation to your individual needs.


Main features

The EM301 heating microscope from Hesse Instruments has the same modular construction as the previous instruments from Leitz: the optical bench supports the lamp, furnace, specimen carriage and camera on three movable stands. All other components, such as the furnace control unit, measuring station computer and cooling unit, are mounted in separate housings.

The components of the EM301 have been designed so that they can be integrated into heating microscopes from Leitz and their optical benches. The instruments’ modular construction allows specific components to be replaced according to your current needs. For example, the following modernisation options are available:
